blues band in Europe and deserve to be heard by a wider audience".
According to everybody who has ever witnessed a Blues Wire gig this band
is one of Europe's best kept blues secrets and they should finally get
the chance to be known to blues lovers around the world.
In my words..., I 've seen the band back in '92, while they were playing in a very small place in Thessaloniki called Pararlama. They were still keeping the name "Blues Gang" and Elias had a long beard remind me of the ZZTop. I was standing no more than 2m long from their guitars, enjoying their playing and I remember very very well, while they were ready to make their break, Elias dares the other guitarist (I never knew his name), with a simple sweep by his guitar. The other guy immediately takes the "glove from the ground", puts back on his guitar, and starts copy everything Elias is playing. So, I was an eye witness of a REAL "Guitar Fight" that started from zero and ended up into a 20 minutes play of ... "Who do You Love".
Well, I don't know if the "Blues Wire" are one of the Europe's best blues secrets, but I'm prety sure they are one of the greatest Greek bands ever.

Κάπου έχω κι ένα σιντί. To steady Gig, ξέρεις, σιντί, όχι μπ3 και μαλακίες. Αν το θέλεις -σε μπ3 όμως, όχι φλακ, στο στέλνω...

Το τύπο με τη φυσαρμόνικα τον γνωρίζω προσωπικά και μάλιστα σε άλλο live τον είχαν ανεβάσει κι έπαιξε μαζί τους. Μάλλον μιλάς για το live στη Πάτρα πριν 3 χρόνια.
Ότι έχεις είναι δεκτό με χαρά!!!

Η ιστορία με το ψευδώνυμο....
χιλιάδες χρόνια πριν.... κι όπως θα 'λεγε κι ο Γιάννης ο Μηλιώκας: "...θαρρώ πως ήταν χθες...". Όχι στην Πάτρα... Το λάιβ ήταν στην προβλήτα της Κυπαρισσίας -έχω ανεβάσει και 2-3 βίντεο τραβηγμένα με κινητό όμως, στο youtube.
Ok για το cd. Θα το κάνω καινούργιο ripping και ίσως σκανάρω και τα εξώφυλλα σε mp3/320_
